Service opportunities

As summer days get longer and our pace slows down, take this opportunity to look around for everyday ways to serve: in your families, in your neighborhoods, in your places of work. Loving our neighbors as ourselves is not a onetime act; it is a way of life. Service is a state of mind. Here are some ideas to get you started:

Marnelle Summer "Slide into Success"

Tuesday June 26 and July 24

Did you know that many struggling students slide even further behind during the summer? Students lose up to three months of skills learned during the school year over summer break. Join us at Marnelle Mobile Home Park as we partner with Cleveland Elementary School and other local churches to help students Slide into Success. We will combine summer bridge activities with games, stories, and lunch. If you would like to join us, please email
