Tafere Fentahun Desta was born in northern Ethiopia in 1971. Despite a difficult childhood, he was able to complete high school. His grandmother had told him about God, but didn’t experience God himself until he found himself as a wizard’s apprentice and regularly doing drugs. He witnessed an evil spirit driven out of a friend and the spirit told him that he had no authority over it. He bought a Bible and read the book of John. That same night he had a dream with a dark angel and an angel in white telling him to choose who he will follow. He woke up shouting “Jesus is Lord!” and accepted Jesus as his savior that same day.Read More

Michael and Lindsey Kaspar are Grace based missionaries serving with visionSynergy, the Lausanne Movement, and the Vision 5:9 Network. Each of these is about connecting influencers and ideas to strategically impact global mission. The emphasis is on the process of building and operating effective Kingdom Networks. These networks, by sharing resources and experience, help to solve some of the problems facing small organizations which are too complex to solve on their own.
I recently connected with Michael to learn why the Kingdom needs network builders in this globalized world.
