Get To Know the Women of Grace

women+of+grace+(1)+copy.png

We recognize that breaking into a community of people can feel overwhelming. We hope that newcomers to Grace Church will comfortably meet people, get connected, and build authentic relationships with God and others.

Every year we hold two semesters of Bible Studies, Worship Events, Day Retreats, a Weekend Retreat, Christmas Brunch, and opportunities to grow in discipleship and friendship. We know you will find a supportive, caring group to encourage you in your walk with Jesus.

Mirror for the Soul

BUY YOUR BOOK HERE (est. cost $14)

In Alice Fryling's "Mirror for the Soul", we are invited, through scripture and discussion, into a discovery of our unique selves- both our gifts and blind spots. It leads us to more authentic self-awareness, richer relationships, and deeper places in the soul where we can worship God in truth and grace. In short, it helps us live in grace with ourselves and others. The tool for this journey of self-discovery is the Enneagram. Join us for this fascinating exploration.

God of Creation

BUY YOUR BOOK HERE (est. cost $13)

Over 10 sessions of verse-by-verse study, dive into the first 11 chapters of Genesis by following three critical stages of understanding: comprehension, interpretation, and application. Teaching videos are key in understanding this study. Revisit familiar stories and historical figures, challenge your basic knowledge, and discover deeper meanings in the text. As God reveals Himself through Scripture, we can only begin to understand ourselves when we first glimpse the character, attributes, and promises of our Creator.

The Gospel Comes with a House Key

BUY YOUR BOOK HERE (est. cost $16)

With this story of her conversion as a backdrop, Rosaria Butterfield invites us into her home to show us how God can use this same “radical, ordinary hospitality” to bring the gospel to our lost friends and neighbors. Such hospitality sees our homes as not our own, but as God’s tools for the furtherance of his kingdom as we welcome those who look, think, believe, and act differently from us into our everyday, sometimes messy lives―helping them see what true Christian faith really looks like.

CLASS OFFERED THURSDAY EVENING 6:30 - 8:30 PM, AT NAN WOODS’ HOME
